The Japan Food Machinery Manufacturers' Association has continued to support people's rich and healthy eating habits through the stable supply of safe and hygienic food to this day.
FOOMA JAPAN 2025, this time the exhibition’s 48th iteration, will be held at Tokyo Big Sight for four days from June 10 (Tues.) to June 13 (Fri.), 2025, based on the theme of “Touch FOOMA, Taste the Future.”
Currently, the food industry is facing various challenges, including not only providing safe and secure food, but also securing the labor force, improving productivity, labor-saving and automation, food globalization, reducing food waste, and reducing the burden on the global environment.
The theme here expresses our determination to build on the successes of the exhibition series to date, to present a vision of the future of food manufacturing, and open up new possibilities for the food industry. It also represents our unwavering commitment to contributing to further development, with an eye toward a sustainable future for the food machinery industry and the food industry as a whole.
In this exhibition, we will maintain a focus on the fundamentals of food safety and security. Along with exhibiting innovative, latest products and services such as cutting-edge AI and robots that evoke the future, we will also work more proactively to hold a sustainable exhibition.

FOOMA JAPAN features a full range of solutions related to food production, and has continued to innovate as one of the world’s largest-scale general food manufacturing exhibitions. For the 2024 iteration, the number of exhibitors, total visitors, and overseas visitors were all at a record high, with an array of over 5,000 diverse solutions—allowing FOOMA JAPAN to live up to its title as one of the world’s largest general food manufacturing exhibitions.
The theme presented for FOOMA JAPAN 2025 is “Touch FOOMA, Taste the Future.” At FOOMA JAPAN 2025, where the latest technologies and innovations intersect, approximately 1,000 companies will gather in one zone and 21 categories related to the food manufacturing process. Experiencing the moment when the next generation of food manufacturing becomes a reality is when new insights are gained that will shape the future of food manufacturing. We believe that "touching" the possibilities of next-generation food manufacturing and "tasting" that future will be an opportunity to create technological innovation.
 The Startup Zone, which brings together groundbreaking technologies and ideas, will exhibit a large number of technologies that are expected to shape the future of food manufacturing and serve as new resources, including AI, robotics, and digital transformation. The FOOMA Awards recognize cutting-edge technologies that open up new possibilities and future for food, contributing to the dissemination of technologies that support the future of food and the promotion of innovation throughout the industry.
Also, to improve convenience for visitors, we have expanded our digital transformation measures such as the "Visitor My Page" and "FOOMA App," creating an environment where visitors can gather information more effectively and find the most suitable technologies.
