Overview of Products, Technologies, and Services
NEGIX is a non-stop automation robot that automates the green onion portioning step in deli and bento factories. It reduces labor in cut-green-onion portioning without stopping the production line.
【Key Features】
■ Integrated design from cup feeding to precise portioning, all in one self-contained unit
■ A specially designed hand stably handles uneven, sticky cut green onions
■ High-precision filling for consistent product quality
■ Built so factory operators can easily refill, clean, and recover from stoppages
【Target Users】
Food factories producing soba, udon, bento, and deli products — ideal for sites tackling labor shortages in the portioning process.
Product Features
- Feature 1: Continuous portioning at up to approx. 1,200 bento per hour
NEGIX is a high-speed robotic system capable of continuously portioning up to approximately 1,200 bento per hour. Peak-hour portioning work that previously required multiple operators is now handled stably by a single robot. On high-volume soba, udon, and bento production lines, NEGIX removes manual-labor bottlenecks, stabilizes production planning, reduces overtime, and secures consistent production capacity. - Feature 2: High-precision portioning from 5g to 8g
NEGIX precisely controls green-onion portion weights within a 5g to 8g range, suppressing the per-product variation that manual work cannot avoid. By minimizing both over- and under-portioning, the system delivers uniform quality to consumers while preventing ingredient cost overruns from excess portioning — improving raw material usage and the precision of cost control. - Feature 3: Space-saving, all-in-one integrated design
Cup feeder, automatic green-onion dispenser, portioning robot, and discharge conveyor are integrated into a single unit measuring 822mm (W) × 1,453.5mm (D) × 1,894mm (H), and accepting Φ100mm cups. The complete cup-supply → portioning → discharge cycle is completed by one machine, eliminating the need to combine multiple devices. This makes NEGIX well-suited to retrofit installation on existing portioning lines. - Feature 4: Stable portioning with a high-precision SCARA robot
NEGIX uses the EPSON LS10 SCARA robot from leading industrial robot manufacturer Epson. Its high positioning accuracy and operating speed enable stable placement and consistent appearance, even for lightweight, irregularly shaped cut green onions. Real-time control flexibly handles variation in ingredient shape and quantity, meeting both the visual-quality and speed demands of high-volume production lines. - Feature 5: Three-phase 200V power supply and simple operation for floor workers
NEGiX operates on a three-phase 200V power supply, requiring no special electrical work for installation. Operation is centered on an intuitive touch-panel interface — start, stop, and emergency stop — so the system can be run by ordinary factory operators without on-site robotics specialists. Its structure is designed for easy refilling, cleaning, and recovery on the floor, delivering practical labor savings with low post-installation operating burden.
