The "Narrow Gap Cell," which is less affected by the color of sludge, has a unique structure in which the cell length is shortened to the absolute minimum. This reduces the influence of scattered light, making it less susceptible to the color of sludge and allowing for highly accurate measurements. - ■Normal maintenance only requires zero calibration with tap water.
Even if errors occur due to dirt or scratches on the cell surface, or a decrease in light output due to LED degradation over time, these can be corrected simply by zero calibration with tap water once a day before measurement. Correction using conventional calibration plates is unnecessary.
