Noritake's Heat Exchangers have static mixers installed inside their heat exchanger tubes. Static mixer heat exchangers can improve production efficiency with the high heat exchange ratio from their special mechanisms while allowing for fast heating and cooling in a compact space. We have two kinds of heat exchangers – double tube and multi-tube – so that you can optimize the heating and cooling of various materials.

  • Unrivaled Heat Transfer Efficiency
    The built-in static mixer continuously divides, rotates, and redirects the fluid flow. This action reduces thermal boundary layer resistance at the tube walls, leading to a dramatic improvement in heat transfer coefficients.
  • Compact Design
    Due to its superior efficiency, the heat transfer area can be reduced to 1/5 to 1/3 of conventional models for the same thermal load. This allows for a significant reduction in both installation footprint and internal volume.
  • Uniform Product Quality
    The mixing action eliminates temperature gradients between the center and the tube walls. This prevents overheating (scorching) and uneven heating, minimizing the degradation of heat-sensitive foods and chemicals.
  • Excellent Performance with High-Viscosity Fluids
    Our system enables efficient heating and cooling of high-viscosity fluids and gel-prone materials (such as starch, agar, and polymers)—tasks that are typically difficult with conventional heat exchangers.
  • Ease of Maintenance
    In addition to being CIP (Clean-in-Place) compatible, the system features a design that allows for easy disassembly and cleaning.
