The “ED-601” is a simple yet multifunctional LED display developed by Nippon Seihyo, a manufacturer of weighing equipment, to meet on-site needs.   The unit is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to change the “text content,” “color,” and “lighting/flashing” settings directly from the web browser on your smartphone or tablet. Even when installed in hard-to-reach locations, you can update settings seamlessly without the need for physical wiring or a computer.

  Equipped with 10 standard circuits for voltage-free contacts and open-collector inputs. Additionally, with support for BCD input (ED-601A), it can receive signals not only from measuring instruments but also from the PLCs of existing production equipment and external switches, enabling versatile message control based on equipment operating conditions.

  When input values exceed preset upper limits, the unit automatically changes text color (8 colors total) or switches to warning messages and flashing displays. This intuitively notifies operators of abnormalities or target achievements—such as yield management, over- or under-filling, and overload prevention—helping to reduce human error.

  Sealing of all components and circuit board coating achieve IP53-equivalent dust and rain resistance. You can use it with confidence even in sites with airborne powder or semi-outdoor loading/unloading yards with moisture. Additionally, it supports standard switching between vertical and horizontal display orientations to accommodate limited installation space.
