The Japan Food Machinery Manufacturers’ Association has engaged in a variety of activities aimed at contributing to the development of the food machinery industry and improving the quality of people’s lives. But our most important activity is the holding of FOOMA JAPAN (International Food Machinery & Technology Exhibition). FOOMA JAPAN 2016, the 39th since the first one was held in 1978, will be held for a four-day period from Tuesday, June 7, to Friday, June 10, 2016, at Tokyo Big Sight.
On the theme of “Updating Taste Technology,” FOOMA JAPAN 2016 will present state-of-the-art products, technologies, and services that also maintain rigorous standards for food safety, with the aim of fostering the ongoing development of a wide range of food-related industrial fields.

Lasting vitality for our industry depends on continuing to update our technologies and on continuing to deliver new kinds of value. FOOMA JAPAN, which encompasses all aspects of food-manufacturing processes, has grown steadily to become Asia’s largest-scale comprehensive trade fair for food technology.
